Invisible Disco Presents: No Exit

“No Exit” by Jean-Paul Sartre originated as an existential French play in 1944. After theaters closed and everything was put online, the Invisible Disco team; comprised of Lauren Montes, Thea Throndson, Deniz Bulat, and Amelia Annen, wanted to find a way to keep theatre alive, even if it was online. We chose “No Exit” because sometimes zoom feels like hell. We reached out to actors and rehearsed everyday for a week. The show was directed by Lauren Montes, and Stage Managed by Deniz Bulat.

The live night of theatre, even over zoom, was a success!! More than 50 audience members joined us and we raised $300 dollars for Girls Inc. of New York City. Thank you all so very much!
