Week in Review

This week has been a busy one for the Disco, and we’re excited we get to share it with you! We’re still going strong with our Writers’ Collective, and our new additions have added so much to the dynamic! Monday, we’ve wrapped up on our “How To” project for our patrons. Wednesday saw the continuation of the Artists we Admire series on our Instagram @invisiblediscoproductions. Check out those amazing artists the team thinks you should know! We also recorded an upcoming podcast episode with a very special writer we can’t wait for you to me!

Thursday, we started casting a new show that we’re working on! We all miss theaters so much, but show must go on… on Zoom. Stay in tune for details.

Do you like ghost stories? Friday, the ninth episode of Writer’s Block Party, “Late” feat. Esther Um dropped on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Go on and give it a listen… Esther and hosts Deniz and Amelia discuss gothic fiction, Bly Manor, and queer stories.

Saturday, we posted our Monologue Project on our Instagram. A couple of our favorite people who also happen to be amazingly talented read a monologue for Lady Macbeth, and Lauren edited them together as one. With this project we wanted to take a well-known monologue and present it anew across identities. Thank you to Trent Abernathy, Alex Ramirez, and Olivia Roberts… As always, we are amazed by your artistry.
