Week in Review

Hi Everyone!

Hope your Saturday is treating you well. This week has been a busy week for the Disco, and we can’t wait to share it with you! Last Sunday we had our Writers’ Collective “Recital”, in which all eight of the writers whom we’ve been sharing with in the past six weeks brought in a glimpse of their work. It was truly inspiring for us and our guests; you can watch snippets of the pieces on your YouTube!

On Tuesday, we geared up to send out the second round of Writing-Prompt-Calendars to our current Patrons! This benefit is given to every patron ($3-$25/month), every month they are a part of our community, so all you have to do to receive it is head over to https://www.patreon.com/invisiblediscoproductions and sign up! We’re very excited about this month’s prompts!!

Wednesday saw the continuation of the Artists we Admire series on our Instagram @invisiblediscoproductions. Check out those amazing artists the team thinks you should know! It’s a project we’re passionate about and we hope our supporters can continue to engage. We also recognize the idea behind the series is the VERY beginning of the work that’s left to be done where racial justice in this industry, this country, and the world is concerned, and we are humbled to be beginning.

On Thursday, we recorded the ninth episode for our Podcast, Writer’s Block Party, with a friend that we love and admire so much. I’ll keep her name to myself for now, so we can enjoy the surprise later.

Yesterday, the fourth episode of Writer’s Block Party, “Untitled 1000” featuring Deniz Bulat (myself) dropped on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. If you haven’t already, I would love it if you try to listen. Thea and Lauren hosted it and really brought in the jokes.
